Md. Foyzur Rahman
About

A pharmacist who lives in the in-silico layer.

Md. Foyzur Rahman is a registered pharmacist and bioinformatics researcher based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, working at the intersection of wet-lab pharmacology and computational drug discovery. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Dhaka International University, completed with a CGPA of 3.97 out of 4.00 across 156 credit hours spanning biochemistry, microbiology, pharmaceutical technology, biopharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry and pharmacology.

He currently serves as a Lab Officer in the Department of Pharmacy at Dhaka International University, where he runs lab classes for undergraduates and supervises student projects. Alongside this, he is a Tutor, Research Associate and Lab Manager at BioPC — A Bioinformatics Lab of Research and Training — where he guides students through molecular docking, vaccine design and sequence-analysis workflows.

His research centers on natural products, in-silico drug and vaccine design, and the computational evaluation of pharmacological activity — work that has already produced five peer-reviewed publications, including two Q1 papers in PLOS ONE and Stem Cell Research & Therapy.
